Based on a special economic area of Shenzhen. FT World looks beyond the factories and skyscrapers of China's youngest metropolis and has turned into the innovation hub of Shenzhen City.
Dragon1. DragonO's ancestor was featured at the Shenzhen Fashion & Technology Festival. The first public exhibition ever held for Dragon.
This prototype was the beginning of the evolution that two years later would become the current DragonO Volumetric LED Display.
The beginning of an adventure that has taken us to unimaginable experiences, started there in the city of Shenzhen, in The Silos.

A one-piece structure of 1.20mW x 1.20mD x 3mH. Made up of 9 non-modular panels. A full-fledged prototype. It was transported assembled in a gigantic wooden box. The delicacy of the system made each step of the transport and rigging cost an exceptional effort and the constant risk of breaking the device without having spare parts.
Seeing Dragon1 installed in the auditorium meant more of a feat than a job accomplished.
Rigging: Truss structure
Additional Hardware: Performance suit
The prototype content was transmitted through 9 SD cards that were inserted into the 9 panels of Dragon1. Once inserted it was impossible to pause, rewind or speed up the content. The only possible action was to reset the equipment and start the transmission from zero.
It was the first time that the creation of volumetric content was combined with human representations. but its preview or direct synchronization with audio was impossible. For synchronization with the audio, it was necessary to trigger the two signals separately with a simple electric trigger activated by a mouse.
A man dressed in a futuristic motion-activated LED suit descends into the audience at The Silos auditorium. He trots up to a 10-foot totem pole that pulses red across the stage like the beating of a 52,000-voxel heart. When he reaches the front he stops dead. A dramatic silence of a few seconds is created. The man raises an arm. The movement is reproduced within the volumetric space of the totem. The man takes another step forward and immediately a human figure appears, which seems to be his reflection in the volumetric space. The figure takes becomes alive and turns to the audience in the auditorium: "Shenzhen city, I see you now".
It was Dragon's first public appearance**.**
